The legendary ‘Folk Revival’ of the Sixties happened 50 years ago but the songs of hope and social justice that defined it, still resonate today. Toronto folk roots duo ‘Sue and Dwight’ have created a series called ‘Where Have All The Folk Songs Gone’, a sing-a-long tribute to the songs of the late 1950’s and early 1960’s. It’s a sing-a-long tribute because the songs are so familiar the audience couldn’t be stopped from singing along even if they tried!

The show includes folk classics like 'If I Had A Hammer', 'A World Of Our Own', 'Blowin In The Wind', 'Walk Right In', ‘Union Maid', 'Early Morning Rain', 'Tom Dooley', 'Five Hundred Miles' and many more.

‘Where Have All The Folk Songs Gone’ has been enthusiastically received at The Winterfolk Festival (2012 and 2013) and at The Free Times Cafe. The next show is on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2013 at The Free Times Cafe where ‘Sue and Dwight’ will be joined by singer songwriter Michelle Rumball, and double bass player Tony Laviola.
