Another Wonderful Evening of Folk Singing

A friend posted this video on You Tube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nz3SzSHu-38  I can't tell you what a wonderful feeling it is to have a whole room of people singing along with you all night with such exuberance.This song was fairly early in the evening and they were already in good voice...I can even hear harmonies from the audience! I can't help but think Pete Seeger is smiling down on us just a little as we carry on his tradition of getting people to sing along.

A Fun Return of Our Monthly Show!

It was great to be back at The Free Times Cafe last night after a short Summer break. We added six new-old songs to our repetoire based on audience requests from previous months and debuted them at the show. Thank you to the amazing crowd of sing-a-longers who joined us!

We are already looking forward to the next show on Wed. Oct. 15th.

Another Fun Night of Folk Singing!

The March show was so much fun. A really great bunch of people in the audience. We were also honoured to have 60's Yorkville folkies Klaas van Graft from the 'Chanteclairs', and Chick Roberts and Harvey Kotler of 'The Sinners', in the audience singing along. They've been great supporters of this series. And last night they brought along their friend, the wonderful Josh White Jr. visiting from New York. It really was one of those magic nights!
