GET TOGETHER

Get Together - Sixties Singalong

The 60’s were a decade of exciting cultural and political change.

Beginning with the Folk Revival and ending with Woodstock, the era witnessed the Civil Rights Movement, Vietnam War, and the birth of the Peace and Love generation. The music of the 60’s reflected these transformations as traditional folk merged with electric instruments to give birth to the Folk Pop, Folk Rock and Singer Songwriter eras.

Get Together is a singalong show featuring the best folk songs of the era by artists like Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Pete Seeger, Simon & Garfunkel, Crosby Stills & Nash, Peter Paul & Mary. Songs of protest, peace and love, flower power and change. Join us for a groovy time!

The band line-up consists of Sue and Dwight (vocals and guitars), Henry Lees (vocals and percussion), and Tony Laviola (double bass). 'Where Have All The Folk Songs Gone? - 60's FOLK REVIVAL' can be booked as a trio or quartet.
